They provide services to individuals, families, and organisations. The team operates from a single central location and is located in modern premises, which provide ample office space and therapy zones for clinic-based services. The team is the practice's most valuable asset.Your New Role:A dynamic occupational therapist with a passion for community-based practice. The role involves providing assessment and therapy services for clients with various diagnoses impacting participation in daily life. The work will include NDIS participants, TAC (transport accident commission) clients, and Aged Care. There is plenty of variety, but also the opportunity to build your skills in areas that you enjoy. The occupational therapist will work independently; however, they will be well supported by a team of experienced therapists. You will work out of the clinic and provide services in the client's home and community. If you love to be out and about providing services where it matters to the client, this is your opportunity.Your Profile:To succeed in this role, you want to work in a team environment and easily build rapport with your clients. As well as this, you will have the following:Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent tertiary qualifications;Occupational Therapists with, or with the ability to obtain, AHPRA registration;Police Check;Victorian Working with Children check;NDIS Worker Screener;Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate: up to date;Drivers licence;Individual Professional Indemnity Insurance.The following special conditions apply to this role:Clinical experience with children or adults in a range of models of service provision;Experience in a private practice or disability sector;Able to work independently on routine clinical tasks within the scope of practice for the profession, and seek support when needed for more complex and high-risk clinical tasks.Why join this practice?We have a $1000 sign-on bonus and a $1000 bonus at 18 months of employment;$1000 Professional Development allowance;Own computer and phone;Access to fleet cars for home and school visits;They want to know your values, what makes work fulfilling and meaningful for you and the career pathways you want for yourself;We know that you didn't become an occupational therapist to push paper!
