Occupational Therapist – Graduate or Experienced – Permanent, Full Time Hospital Rotations Tasmanian Health Service – Northern Tasmania (Launceston) The Rotational OT program: Our Occupational Therapy service based out of Launceston comprises over 40 wonderful people delivering services across acute, sub-acute and the northern Tasmanian community.
Our rotational program offers early career occupational therapists solid foundational practice skills and the valuable opportunity to gain hospital experience in acute medicine, general surgery & trauma, stroke & other acute specialities, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and home-based services in the community. You will be welcomed by peers from all over Australia who now call Launceston home. We'll look after you from the very beginning, ensure you are fully inducted and set up to thrive. You will be supported in your professional growth with high quality clinical supervision, regular professional development and daily access to senior occupational therapists and OT clinical leads to nurture and mentor you as you consolidate your skills. Attention to your well-being and work-life balance is our priority.
Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day work position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight.
Salary: $71,441- $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022 You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum Benefits available to eligible candidates Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $5,000 for eligible appointees. Professional development and accelerated pathways. Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible. Fitness Passport – You, and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family. Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
