The role: Undertake assessments – assessment of daily living capabilities and provide intervention with a focus on evidence-based practice.Provide therapy in line with client's Home Care packages / NDIS planPrescription of equipment, assistive technologies and other therapy supports if relevant / of interestLiaison with families and other relevant stakeholdersCollaboration with the wider team and Equipment specialistsProviding treatment, guidance and education to individuals and their carers.Participate in outreach programs (if of interest)Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with current AHPRA registration)A passion for facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for the elderly population and people with disabilityGood written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging.Current driver's license and carWorking with Children Check, National Police Check, Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).Some clinical Occupational Therapy experience is essentialGenerous salary of 120K Base + Super + Free AccommodationEstablished, friendly OT and equipment teamImmense support to allow you to flourish as an autonomous and health care professional For further details please contact Kirstin Symmonds
