This role is balanced between office and field-based work across the region, with extensive travel to Port Hedland, Broome, Kununurra, and occasionally Perth for forums.
A valid Western Australian driver's license is required for this full-time role.
You will lead the local OSH team to support and coach the Northwest Region in various Safety and Wellbeing initiatives.
Your role includes developing and implementing strategies, planning, processes, and initiatives to improve the Northwest Region's occupational safety and health culture and outcomes.
This position involves juggling proactive and reactive tasks, including investigating incidents and reporting to prevent future occurrences.

Remote location allowance from $12,865 (single rate) or $25,730 (double rate with dependant). Additional travel allowance of up to $200 per day when away from home. Annual leave loading of 17.5%. Your first few months will involve adjusting to the new role and understanding our business.
Key Responsibilities Participate in OSH risk profiling and assist with hazard management. Prepare reports to ensure compliance with Corporate, Group, region, and legislative requirements. Coach regional managers and personnel on OSH responsibilities. Facilitate and coach staff on safe work practices. Undertake audits and develop action plans for identified deficiencies. Act as local user expert for OSH systems. Act as competent breathalyser operator as required. Minimum Qualifications Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent. Tertiary degree is advantageous. Experience in ICAM methodology. Technical background with transferable OSH experience. Computer skills, using Microsoft Suite. Confident communication and teamwork skills.
