Reporting to the OHS Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, maintaining and improving the operation of OHS systems and standards, in support of Gold Fields objectives and targets.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is fly in fly out from Perth.

Long service leave pro-rata after 5 years of continuous service About the role: Prepare and distribute quality health and safety information reports, bulletins, and memoranda. Facilitate site inductions, OHS meetings and site OHS presentations to employees. Manage and maintain currency of relevant standards and operating procedures. Lead and facilitate incident investigations, risk assessments and critical risk management processes. Contribute to maintaining site certification in ISO 45001 standards by completing compliance audits as per site schedule and addressing non-conformances promptly. Conduct audits and inspections within Mining ensuring compliance with Site and Department standards. Manage and maintain the site's Chemical Management system. Conduct safety engagements with personnel both on the surface and underground. Contribute to the continual improvement of safety systems (e.g., INX) to ensure that business requirements are being met and the systems are being fully utilized. About you: Tertiary Qualification in OH&S. Demonstrated understanding & application of relevant legislation. Experience with conducting Incident Investigations, preferably ICAM Methodology and Formal Risk Assessments. Possess Lead Auditor Qualifications. Possession of a valid C-class driver's license. Previous mining experience is highly regarded.
