Primary Accountabilities: Conduct Pre-employment medicals including spirometry and audiology assessments and drug and alcohol testing Provide first aid and emergency medical service to employees or contractors in both the clinic and field settings Assist in contributing to the occupational health centre, including pre-employment, health surveillance, health promotion, well-being and emergency injury management programs. Communicate health, hygiene and injury management expectations to TAC staff and contractors, motivate, reinforce and support desirable behaviours. Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health/Nursing. Demonstrated experience in the Occupational Health field (2-5 years desirable) Senior First Aid Certificate Proven clinical assessment skills and sound decision-making ability Knowledge of Anti-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity legislation Ability to maintain confidentiality High level of communication skills – both verbal and written Accreditation and training in Spirometry, Audiology and Drug and Alcohol testing (desirable) Applications close: 16 January 2025 All applications must attach a current resume.
