Our core purpose is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable water services to residential, commercial and industrial customers.We are looking for an outcome oriented high performer who is passionate about safety, health and wellbeing to join the Safety team, supporting our people to achieve positive safety performance across the organisation.Partnering with the business to ensure compliance with GVW's safety system and support the maturity of GVW's safety culture, you will achieve this through administering the programs, procedures and processes the safety team coordinates to ensure compliance with OHS and workers compensation legislation as well as enhance GVW's safety culture maturity.Ideally you will have exceptional administrative, communication and organisation skills, be solution oriented, have the ability to act decisively, possess strong relationship management skills and be able to influence and work collaboratively.If you are looking for a career in health and safety, where you are motivated by opportunities to contribute to and influence positive change in safety performance and safety culture, we are keen to hear from you.About your new role...As a key member of our Safety team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees, contractors and the communities we serve.Your core responsibilities will include supporting the safety team to coordinate and implement GVW's safety program and priorities ensuring the organisation achieves its safety performance outcomes and matures the culture of safety.You will do this through working collaboratively across the organisation to deliver safety outcomes, administering health and well-being prevention and early intervention programs, maintaining and updating GVW's safety management system documentation and records and coordinating the schedule of the annual certification program.This is an exciting role pivotal to supporting GVW's strategic safety program.
