Occupational and Environmental PhysicianThis is a part-time opportunity for an experienced Occupational and Environmental Physician to join our workplace response team.
As an Occupational and Environmental Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing expert medical advice and services to organisations, with a focus on promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of employees.
What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive medical assessments and examinations to evaluate the health and fitness of employeesAdvising on workplace health and safety policies, procedures and programs to minimise occupational health risksInvestigating and managing workplace injuries and illnesses, and developing return-to-work strategiesCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including HR, safety, and operations, to implement effective occupational health solutionsProviding expert testimony and medical reports for regulatory and legal purposesStaying up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, guidelines and best practicesWhat we're looking for Registration as an Occupational and Environmental Physician with the relevant medical authoritiesExperience (3+ years) in occupational medicine, preferably within a diverse range of industriesStrong clinical skills, with a deep understanding of workplace health and safety regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented approachStrong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentialityWhat we offer We are committed to supporting the professional and personal development of our employees.
