The Hospital:
The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department.
This is now a state-of-the-art fully modern hospital and one of Australia's largest regional healthcare facilities.
The hospital is also accredited for training with a number of the colleges and provides the following specialist services to the local community: ED, O&G, Paeds, Orthopaedics, Anaesthetics, ICU, Coronary care, Psychiatry, Aged Care, Renal Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Palliative Care, and Day Surgery.
The Role:
Our Women's Health Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is looking for Principal House Officers to join their team on a Temporary Full-Time basis starting ASAP.
Working in this busy, state-of-the-art public hospital you will enjoy lots of consultant and senior medical officer support, making it a great place to learn and develop your clinical expertise.
Remuneration:
Remuneration level up to $147,000 p.a.
The Requirements:
Ideally, the hospital is looking for either an SHO or Registrar with at least 6 months of Australian or UK O&G experience.
