Job Description We are currently seeking a hard-working, dedicated and experienced professional for the role of Housekeeping Manager at Oaks Broome Hotel and Oaks Cable Beach Resort.
Key Responsibilities Include: Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in Housekeeping (in rooms, public and common areas); Build a productive and professional relationship with Housekeeping staff members, clients, and all contractor personnel; Lead housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service; Oversee daily on-the-job training for all cleaning employees; Maintain accurate financial, maintenance, and inventory records. Annual salary range: $70,000- $75,000 (excluding superannuation)
Expected hours: 38 per week
Qualifications Experience in the management of a housekeeping team; Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements, and consumables; Proven experience in managing staff, with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals and maintain exceptional service standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Strong eye for detail, and ability to follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness. Flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and other peak periods as required, demonstrating commitment to meeting the needs of the business and ensuring smooth operations.
