Our client, a leader in renewable energy, is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to oversee daily operations at a utility-scale solar farm. This role ensures the facility's optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with National Electricity Rules.Monitor and optimise solar farm performance for maximum efficiency.Develop and implement maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime.Allocate resources for planned and reactive maintenance tasks.Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety drills.Ensure adherence to environmental and industry regulations.Lead, mentor, and develop the O&M team to encourage growth and improvement.Handle staffing needs, recruitment, and performance evaluations.Coordinate with network operators, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.Provide regular performance updates to senior management.Manage the O&M budget, optimising resources for efficient operations.Act as the primary technical contact for O&M issues.Promote new technologies to improve performance and reliability. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.Extensive experience managing O&M in solar or renewable facilities.Knowledge of National Electricity Rules.Proven leadership, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.Proficiency in O&M software and diagnostic tools.
