About the Opportunity: We are currently offering a full-time Sales Support Merchandise opportunity to join our Katanning team.
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers, and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers.
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods Assisting customers with pricing and product queries Processing counter sales Maintaining safety processes Assisting with merchandise campaign material Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries What we'll love about you: To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You'll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience working within a sales environment preferred, but not essential Effective verbal communication skills to build solid long-term customer relationships A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills Excellent attention to detail Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook A current driver's license is essential Forklift ticket desirable or a willingness to obtain one on the job Truck licence a bonus but not essential Ag Chem certification ideal or willingness to obtain one on the job.
