About the Role: Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base includes local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. Your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers, either in store or over the telephone, while:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods Assisting customers with pricing and product queries Processing counter sales Maintaining safety processes Assisting with merchandise campaign material Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries What We'd Love to See from You: A passion for customer service with a positive approach and determination to succeed Exposure to or a strong passion for farming and agriculture, with enthusiasm to learn about new products Previous success in a retail sales or customer service role A self-motivated individual capable of nurturing strong customer relationships and getting the job done in a fast-paced environment Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with the ability to take direction well A current driver's license is essential, and a forklift ticket is highly advantageous (or willingness to obtain one) MR license is advantageous but not required We're Invested in You We have a strong culture of empowerment where your career is in your own hands.
