We are currently offering a great opportunity for a driven livestock advisor to join our Animal Health team in WA.
About the role: Reporting to the Regional Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving opportunities for sales growth within our Animal Health product category both on farm and in store throughout the West Australian region. In addition, you will be responsible for:
Providing technical advice and services on farm to livestock clients to support and grow their businesses. Proactively maintaining and developing effective relationships with key livestock customers for the focus branches. Assisting in the development and implementation of animal production plans for customers to increase productivity and profitability. Providing support and training to focus branch staff on animal health, management, and nutritional products. Maintaining effective relationships with various internal stakeholders to pre-empt demand for products and sales opportunities. Promoting and representing Nutrien at relevant industry meetings and events. Providing appropriate animal health, management and nutritional assistance and support to WA branches and networks. Assisting in the planning and budgeting process of key animal health and nutritional products. Providing market intelligence on livestock industry trends, best practice management livestock activities, competitor activities and strategies. A little about you: To be successful you must possess strong experience within a customer-facing sales role ideally gained within rural supplies and the agricultural industry. In addition, you will:
Have a tertiary qualification in a related field. Possess product knowledge within Animal Health, Nutrition and Production. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills. Have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders. Demonstrate strong knowledge of sales processes and retail best practice methodologies. Be able to travel to regional and rural locations. *There will be a large element of travel, therefore the role requires you to have a valid and current drivers' licence and be willing to travel* Apply today!
