The Nursing Unit Manager leads nursing staff, ensures effective liaison between all health professionals and is responsible for the environmental and work, health and safety management of the unit.
Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician led clinical standards, safety and quality improvements have become a major focus.
