About the role:
Our nursing team is critical in our vision to build healthier rural people and thriving communities.
Our nurse managers ensure we deliver on our promise by creating safe, healthy environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient engagement.
You will be managing and supervising staff in Orange Operating Theatres with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and professional growth for staff.
Other duties include case management, treatment planning, scheduling, mentoring, and developing educational plans.
You'll be a role model to uphold policies and professional standards practices with staff to deliver evidence-based best practice and safe care.
You'll also be an advocate for our organisational change processes to continuously improve nursing care delivery.
