EEN OR RN SELECTION CRITERIA Essential Excellent communication skills Professional and pleasant telephone manner Ability to work as part of a team Commitment to customer service Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality Must be motivated and show initiative Friendly personality Able to work unsupervised Excellent organisational skills IT and Computer skills Demonstrates commitment to Occupational Health and Safety Demonstrates commitment to Infection Control Current registration with AHPRA as an EEN or RN Current CPR Certificate Current working with children check Desirable Experience as a practice nurse Immunisation accredited Willingness to seek continuing nurse education Up to date knowledge of autoclave sterilisation JOB SUMMARY Provides care in the general practice environment Responsible for ensuring excellent patient care and efficient systems are maintained Supervise nursing staff and medical practice assistants Nursing duties include wound management, immunisation, ECG and spirometry, triaging of patients and assisting medical practitioners Ensure that infection control protocols are maintained Manage immunisation and chronic disease management clinics Manage patient recall systems Follow up of absent Doctors including pathology, radiology and special reports are attended to.
