Darwin Private Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Peri-operative Nurse to join our established hospital team as our Clinical Nurse Educator.
As a Clinical Nurse Educator your responsibilities will include: Reporting to the Peri-op Services A-DON, you will take on a leadership role in providing hands on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation to graduate nurses & students.
You will promote a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge.
In addition, you will also ensure staff compliance to annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning components.
In this role, you will also attend relevant policy & procedure meetings, ward meetings and bi-monthly Education Meetings.
Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and the Darwin Private Hospital - Nurses and Midwives - Enterprise Agreement - 2021-2024 ( $114,908 p.a.)
