The Division of Medicine are looking for a Nursing Director to join their team. The Division of Medicine (DOM) provides comprehensive tertiary and specialty inpatient, ambulatory and outpatient services in a large variety of specialty units. These include Clinical Immunology, Clinical Pharmacology, Dermatology, Diabetes and Endocrine, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation, Hypertension, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine including Stroke management, Medical Assessment and Planning Unit (MAPU), Neurology, Alcohol and Drug, Renal Medicine, Rheumatology, Security Unit, and Palliative Care.

About the RoleCollaborate with nursing colleagues and other key stakeholders in planning contemporary recruitment and retention strategies, building workforce capability for excellence in service delivery.Create opportunity for consumer/patient involvement in the planning and delivery of health services.Responsible for completing required documentation and becoming a proficient user of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other Information Technology systems to the level required of the position; once proficient remain current with changes, updates and contingencies.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
