Bushland Health Group Limited is a long standing, community based, not for profit provider of residential aged care in the Manning Valley, on the mid north coast of NSW. We are the largest provider in the area and deliver best practice aged care to 271 residents at 3 facilities. About the Role - What will you do?
Provide appropriate clinical care to residents in accordance with their needs assessment and nursing care plan Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as, showering, dressing or other personally orientated tasks to facilitate a good quality of life for the residents Ensure residents have the opportunity to make informed choices and decisions regarding their care and the services they receive Accurately document resident's current condition and care needs Maintain a clean and comfortable environment in the home
Skills and Experience - What do you need?
Essential skills:
COVID19 Digital Certificate Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, or similar A genuine respect for the Aged Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills, and friendly demeanour Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a busy team environment Reliable Flexible and proactive in your approach to work and dedication in providing exceptional care

Established in 1958 to meet a specific need for Residential Aged Care, the Staff and Honorary Board of this community based charity have worked with the Council to ensure the growth of services match the growth in demand for this type of accommodation. The community and staff can rest assured the motivation to provide the best possible care to current and future residents will result in improved and expanded services in the future. The organisation is one of only a handful of Aged Care Providers in Australia to use the services of an Aged Care Nurse Pracititioner to enhance the care given to residents at all three facilites. The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical assessments and comprehensive interventions for residents that result in improved health outcomes, improved quality of life and reduced hospitalisation rates.
