About the role We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our team at the Melbourne CBD Donor Centre.

You'll be there for our donors every step of the way, making sure they have a great experience.
Here's what a typical day might look like:
Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate.Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.Set up machines, various tubing, and collection bags.Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.Monitor donors post-donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation.Help create an awesome donor experience that keeps them coming back for more!No prior experience in blood collection is needed; our paid and flexible self-paced training program has a balance between on-the-job practice and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported.
Besides having a real passion to deliver an amazing donor experience, you'll need to be able to:
Work various shifts from Monday - Sunday.Support and foster a fantastic team culture.Occasionally lift between 9-22.7 kgs.Frequently stand, walk, and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products.Utilise your background in customer service and thrive in our dynamic environment, where your skills will be key to delivering exceptional results.Thrive in a diverse culture that cares for your wellbeing Working for Lifeblood, you will benefit from:
