Salary: $144,064 (Pro-Rata) – RN/M5 Level 1
Multiple positions available, both: Ongoing and Temporary (up to 12 months) & Full Time and Part Time available
Overview:
The South Australian State Health Coordination Centre (SHCC) provides 24/7 real-time visibility of patient flow across the system, using existing data and shared insights to identify issues and patterns and respond before they impact the system or patient care.
The SHCC's role is an important enabler coordinating a system approach to improvements in ramping, flow, and access to care to deliver an improved patient journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership, coaching, governance, and direction (in and after hours across 7 days) for the SHCC.
Ensure the health system operates efficiently, utilizing available capacity across the system to manage patients, resulting in improved patient flow and outcomes.
Lead complex system and process improvement across LHNs through coaching, mentoring, and training.
Accept accountability for the governance and practice standards of nurses/midwives and the effective implementation of corporate systems to support and improve nursing/midwifery practice.
Minimum Requirements:
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours and participate in after-hours shifts.
