About the role: The role will involve establishing and embedding robust clinical governance processes within the maternity service, ensuring that there is effective multidisciplinary team collaboration to provide care that is women centred, contemporary, evidenced-based and reproducible.
The role will provide a key leadership and management function, promoting efficient and effective use of human and material resources in this dynamic health environment, based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nursing and Midwifery Standards of Practice Scope of Clinical Practice.
About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory. Experience and demonstrated success in project management and/or service improvement methodology. Demonstrated expertise and ability to apply clinical expertise and/or content expertise to achieve strategic and operational leadership and governance. High degree of systems literacy and ability to manage care across a variety of health care environments to assist in delivering the organisation's key performance indicators.
