About the Role We have an opportunity for a Nursery Team Leader to join our dynamic team.
We are currently seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Team Leader at our Lindendale site.
In this role, you will undertake Mountain Blue's Nursery processes and contribute to the overall success of our site.
This is a high volume, role that involves working with your teams, providing direction to achieve strong outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Actively supervise nursery teams over a variety of tasks and ensure team productivities & quality targets are met.
Provide training on production tasks to Nursery team members.
Reliably and accurately provide task completion sheets on-time, providing clarity on work progress.
These will include written documents and meetings as required.
Ensure all tools and equipment to be used in section are kept in good working condition.
Ensure best hygiene practises are known and are being followed.
Operate plant and equipment.
Oversee the use of and application of agricultural chemicals relevant to section.
Ensuring the management team is immediately informed of any problems or issues with plant health or survival due to any reason.
Ensuring that the management team is immediately informed of any issues, or problems with infrastructure.
Weeding and hygiene care of nursery stock and nursery site.
Prepare and apply chemicals, including fertilisers and crop protectants.
Report all hazards, incidents, and injuries to management.
Follow all MB policy and procedure.
Report on KPI's Perform tasks commensurate with the tasks required by your Grade Level as stated by the Nursery Award 2020.
Stocktake of nursery plants.
Maintain nursery records as required.
Provide support to the Nursery Manager, including feedback on staff skills, staffing levels, task times and other information as requested.
Filling in with the other Team Leaders for the Nursery Manager when requested (e.g.
when Nursery Manager is absent).
Skills and Personal Attributes Self-motivated employee who can work autonomously and, in a team, environment.
Being able to demonstrate skills in planning of workload and time management.
Excellent communication skills and be able to adapt communication style to accommodate cultural differences and ensure mutual understanding.
A willingness to learn and be adaptable to change.
Well organised Problem solving Eligibility Criteria Strong team member and can-do attitude Strong attention to detail Previous experience Managing a Team.
Qualification or relevant experience in Nursery processes and operations.

This role involves occasional local domestic travel for training and team collaboration.
Candidates should be willing and able to travel locally.
This role is being offered as a full-time position.

Salary – Grade 5 – Nursery Award 2020
