Humphris Nursery is a large-scale wholesale operation based in Mooroolbark, Victoria.
Our team of 120+ passionate individuals manage four production sites and a retail facility throughout the picturesque Yarra Valley.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a high-performing, results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team and drive our long-term strategic vision.
The ideal candidate will:
• Manage a select group of independent retail nurseries
• Drive growth and nurture key customer relationships
• Expand sales across our large and diverse product range
Whilst a solid understanding of the retail nursery segment and extensive plant knowledge is beneficial, we value proven sales ability and a willingness to learn above all.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
• Engage with clients through regular visits, product communications, and budget planning
• Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for the management team
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives
• Represent Humphris at industry events and trade shows
Qualifications
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in a related industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities
• Attention to detail and effective organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel and attend industry events
