Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training) As the Nursery Centre Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a thriving childcare centre in the heart of Balmain, NSW.
This is a full-time role that will see you overseeing all aspects of the centre's operations, from staffing and budgeting to program development and compliance.
Our Nursery centre is licensed for 66 children per day, from 6 weeks to 2.5 years of age.
What you'll be doing Providing strong leadership and direction to the childcare team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment,Developing and implementing engaging educational programs that align with the centre's philosophy and the needs of the children,Ensuring the centre meets all relevant regulatory and licensing requirements,Managing the centre's budget and financial operations, including payroll and family accounts,Overseeing the recruitment, training and development of employees at the centre,Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, the local community and other stakeholders,Continuously seeking ways to improve the quality of care and education provided at the centre.What we're looking for An ACECQA approved qualification in Early Childhood Education,Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior Early Education leadership role,Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and lead the strategic direction of an Early Education centre,Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, regulatory requirements and best practice in early childhood education,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and the community,Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation in an Early Education setting,Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.What we offer Competitive salary and attractive benefits package - depending on experienceSupportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and familiesAbout us We are a leading provider of early childhood education and care in the Sydney metropolitan area.
