An opportunity exists for a Nurse Unit Manager to take on a leadership position within our busy perioperative department at North Park Private Hospital. Your clinical skills, excellent leadership capabilities and positive approach to work will ensure your success in the role. You will report to the Peri-Operative Services Manager for Northpark & La Trobe Private Hospitals.
As a Nurse Unit Manager your responsibilities will include: Coordination and allocation of staffUnderstanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and Sterilisation standardsKnowledge of accreditation processes and Quality/Risk managementEnsure workplace health and safety guidelines and policies are metManage Budgets and attainment of budgetary targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Current Registered Nurse Registration with AHPRAPost Graduate Qualifications in Nursing, highly desirableMinimum of 5 years senior nursing experience within the Perioperative unitHigh degree of computer literacy including MS OfficeExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbout Us Northpark Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
