We are seeking to appoint an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Neurology Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH). This is a Permanent Full Time position. Although job share may be considered, appointment of one person to full time is preferred.
The neurology service at FSH provides tertiary-level planned services for the management of adults with complex neurological conditions, as well as emergency services for adults with low, moderate and high complexity conditions requiring immediate neurological management.
In this role you will:
Be responsible for leading and managing the Nursing/Midwifery and Assistants in Nursing to deliver evidence based care to achieve optimal patient outcomes within allocated resources.Direct responsibility for improving and maintaining standards, developing solutions and delivering outcomes consistent with service and organisational imperatives and targets.As a key leader in the interdisciplinary team, including FM staff, ensure that the Unit meets the requirement for delivery of a patient centred service against key performance indicators: quality, budget and human resource.Provide a consultation and liaison service within their area of expertise to relevant internal and external customers.Employee Benefits Our employees enjoy a range of benefits which may include (in line with operational requirements):
