Permanent Full-time | 76 hours per fortnight Salary range: Nurse Manager (permanent rate): $67.53 to $73.32/hour (depending on experience and qualifications), plus superannuation and benefits

St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our 20-bed private mental health ward.
With mental health identified as one of our four core services in our strategic plan, this role offers an exciting opportunity to play a leading part in our commitment to high-quality, innovative, and holistic mental health care.
About the Role: As the Nurse Unit Manager of our mental health ward, you'll have the rewarding responsibility of overseeing patient care, guiding a skilled nursing team, and collaborating with a dedicated group of psychiatrists to provide patient-centred mental health services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Team Development: Leading a multidisciplinary team with a focus on mentorship, engagement, and building resilience within your team.Clinical Excellence: Ensuring the highest standards of care across our ward, including oversight of our rTMS service, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.Program Management: Overseeing our comprehensive patient program that supports both mental and emotional wellness through therapeutic and recovery-focused activities.Collaborative Care: Working closely with psychiatrists to design and implement personalised treatment plans, creating an environment where integrated, compassionate care is paramount.About You: We are looking for an empathetic and dedicated leader who brings:
