About the role The role of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is to provide dynamic and innovative leadership in the management of staff, services, and resources to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and quality nursing care. This position will also contribute to both unit and organisational clinical governance ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, quality, and safety standards. We seek a diligent and enthusiastic professional capable of offering dynamic and innovative leadership in staff, service, and resource management. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to ensuring the delivery of exceptional nursing care and will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement within their professional practice.
You will be based at Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services (MHDA) – Bloomfield Campus. Bloomfield Campus provides inpatient services that include a child and adolescent unit, a state-wide forensic rehabilitation unit, a mental health intensive care unit, adult acute unit, older person's acute unit, and a range of non-acute state-wide and district inpatient units for adults and older people.
