We offer a wide range of services to support the West Coast community, including Emergency Care, an inpatient ward, a Residential Aged Care Facility, and visiting services such as Radiology, Physiotherapy, and Podiatry.The Role:The West Coast District Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join their team.The Nurse Unit Manager:Provides leadership, oversight and management of the activities within the West Coast District Hospital (WCDH), including emergency first response, inpatient, and Residential Aged Care and the Rosebery Community Health Centre, as well as home care services, the adult day centre, and community nursing.Supports the efficient and effective provision of care, based on Primary Health Care standards and best practice principles, within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education and nursing functions within WCDH and RCHC.Leads and manages the coordination of overall patient, resident and client care and is responsible for managing the allocated human, material and financial resources for service delivery within the WCDH and RCHC.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from March 2025.*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered NurseCurrent Registration to Work with Vulnerable People*As required by the Commonwealth Home Support Program and/or the Aged Care Act, occupants of this role are required to undertake a conviction check assessment every three years.Salary: $130,203 - $136,295 per annum.
