Nurse Unit Manager Nowra Private Hospital, Nowra Full Time Opportunity The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Nurse to take on a key leadership position in the role of a Nurse Unit Manager.
You will join a dynamic team on our South Wing Ward which is a 42 bedded unit which services a combination of Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation patients.

This role will see you: Be accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resourcesBe engaged with recruiting a new teamBe a positive mentor and provide clinical leadership and support to your teamWork with and support other managers in the wider hospital community in achieving excellence in patient outcomesAssist in shaping organisational strategy, improve procedural service provision and achieve departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.Skills and Experience To excel in this role, you must have the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor your team.
As a leader, you will be driven by a passion for helping your team members succeed and develop, while also demonstrating a strong commitment to providing exceptional client care and service.
You will bring a keen eye for strategic management of clinical staff, financial and material resources and an understanding of patient flow.
Key to this role will be the capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor while effectively managing the resources and needs of the unit and business while ensuring a high standard of customer service.
You will also demonstrate: Current registration with AHPRAMinimum 3 years' recent experience in medical or surgical nursingA strong clinical leadership skill setPrevious experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance managementStrong leadership skills and confidence with delegating dutiesStrong communication skills both written and verbal.Post graduate studies in an appropriate specialty area desirableWhat's in it for you?
