Are you a passionate and experienced nursing professional ready to lead and inspire a team in the vital field of maternity care? Our hospital's Maternity Services team is seeking a dynamic Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to oversee our Postnatal Ward, where we provide exceptional care to mothers and their newborns.
About the Role As the NUM of the Postnatal Ward, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. You will lead a dedicated team of nurses, foster a supportive environment, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and staff development.
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical leadership skillset and will hold a passion for nursing and customer-focused service in line with Ramsay Health Care's core values. You will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor while effectively managing the resources and needs of the unit.
Selection Criteria Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.3 years minimum experience in an acute hospital setting and relevant experience in Maternity nursingEffective communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skillsProven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholdersAbility to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement / risk management programHolding or working towards a tertiary management qualification desirablePost graduate studies in an appropriate specialty area desirableRemuneration $64.56 - $69.45 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Nurse/Mid Unit Manager Lv1 – Lv3)
