You will be joining our 37 bed ward caring for aged care and general medicine patients, working closely with a multidisciplined clinical support team which includes discharge planners and our allied health team. This role will see you managing a team of passionate professionals driven to provide safe nursing care to each individual patient to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
This position will see you providing care to patients across both admissions and discharge from their procedures. About YouTo be successful in this role, you must be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate and motivate a large team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.
Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Palliative and GeriatricsExtensive clinical skills and experience within the specialtyExperience in a Senior Hospital Management roleDemonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practiceDemonstrated excellent time management, clinical problem-solving, and organisational skillsAbility to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a continuous improvement programAbility to effectively plan and manage financial, human, and capital resources.Holding or working towards a tertiary management qualification is desirable.What's in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
