Take on an exciting clinical management role in our leadership team at Waverly Private Hospital in this permanent full-time opportunity. About the Role Our General Ward is a 32-bed General Medical & General Surgical unit, specialising in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT (including paeds), Vascular & Plastics.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will work with and support nursing staff in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will supervise, lead, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes with the ability to manage financial and human resources.
You will effectively manage roster processes, allocate duties for nursing staff, proactively increase occupancy where possible and provide a positive, safe, learning environment. You will be joining a well-established team with nurses that really care for quality outcomes.

Your Skills and Experience Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum five (5) years' experience in an acute hospital settingPost-graduate qualifications an advantagePrevious experience in a management or senior leadership positionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as requiredRemuneration On offer is a base hourly rate of $62.90 + superannuation based on experience and qualifications. At Waverley Private Hospital we have seven operating theatres including a Day Procedure Unit.
