We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Nurse Unit Manager - Treatment Room to join our Practice Team. This position is ideally suited to an experienced Registered Nurse. The successful applicant will receive appropriate training and supernumerary support to transition into our busy treatment room environment.
The Role: Manage day-to-day duties in the clinic and lead a clinical team of multiple nurses. Develop nursing rosters ensuring the Treatment Room is adequately staffed with an appropriate skills mix. Coordinate vaccination clinics. Monitor budget and oversee unit supplies and resources. Provide guidance and mentoring to staff members. Experience and Attributes: Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA. Current CPR certification. Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse with demonstrated leadership experience. Immunisation Certification or willingness to commit to training. Experience in Primary Care. Ability to manage people and resolve conflict. Minimum three professional referees. A service-oriented, cheerful personality. Flexibility to work at Panaceum Medical and Panaceum Seacrest sites. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Responsibilities: Assist in minor surgical procedures. Perform wound dressings and removal of sutures. Manage cold chain and infection control. Perform ear syringing and immunisations. Conduct recalls and iron infusions. Manage results and perform administrative tasks using Best Practice software. Involvement in accreditation as required by management.
