We are looking for a temporary Nurse Unit Manager – Breast Screen.• Temporary Full-time opportunity for 3 months.The Nurse Unit Manager Breast Screen provides expert clinical leadership and management capability within West Moreton Health's Breast Screen Service via effective operational and resource management.
The Nurse Unit Manager positively influences the outcome of patient care through effective management skill, support and role modelling contemporary best practice and evidence, team building and guiding clinical care and service delivery.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:Demonstrated ability to apply effective management skills including financial skills and specialised knowledge of contemporary clinical knowledge and skills in Breast Care Queensland, Ipswich Service management.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, strong teams within a framework of open communication and the establishment of a positive environment across the broad clinical interprofessional team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others.Demonstrated effective communication skill including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across disciplines.Demonstrated contemporary clinical nursing expertise with clear understanding of the requirement for patient centred care.Mandatory Requirements:Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.
