About the role As an experienced Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee our Renal Dialysis Unit, in our newly built, state-of-the-art centre with 6 haemodialysis stations. Our stations have the options of haemodialysis/haemodiafiltraton treatment using Baxter dialysis machines.
Key Responsibilities: Accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human & material resources within the Renal unitPlanning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services within the departmentWork with and support other managers and the team to achieve excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirementsTeam management, including implementing effective onboarding and development for all staff within the unit, sound rostering and leave management practices and embedding a culture aligned with the Ramsay WaySome clinical load within the unit will be requiredKeen to step up to a new challenge? Your Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset, with recent management experience, in a hospital setting with experience in the Renal Dialysis nursing specialty area.
You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum of five (5) years' experience in an acute hospital settingProven knowledge as a senior nurse or managerManagement or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resourcesRemuneration On offer is a full-time equivalent, annual salary ranging from $130,000 - $140,000 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

About Our Hospital St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital is a 203-bed, fully accredited advanced surgical, medical and obstetric hospital situated 5 mins from the Ipswich CBD.
