About the role Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager to join the team.
The Nursing Unit Manager is responsible for leading nursing staff, ensuring effective liaison between all health professionals and for the environmental and work, health and safety management of the unit. Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician led clinical standards, safety and quality improvements have become a major focus.
The LHD is committed to the strengthening and ongoing involvement and clinician engagement of staff that provide direct patient care in the planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
