more operating theatres and recovery spacesexpanded emergency departmentenhanced medical, surgical, and mental health servicesenhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinicsnew interventional cardiology servicenew radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care serviceAbout the role The Nursing Unit Manager is responsible for the efficient management of nursing and other relevant staff under their delegation and coordination of the provision of nursing care. The Nursing Unit Manager leads nursing staff, ensures effective liaison between all health professionals and is responsible for the environmental and work, health and safety management of the unit.
Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician led clinical standards, safety and quality improvements have become a major focus.
