The Nurse Unit Manager is the key clinical leadership role providing support to staff, students, and community clients ensuring appropriate clinical care is provided which results in positive outcomes for our community.The Nurse Unit Manager will assist the organisation to meet its strategic and operational objectives.Key Selection Criteria:Registered with Nurse & Midwifery Board as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.Competent with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) standards.Experience and understanding of relevant funding streams such as HACC, CHSP, NDIS, and HCP.Experience with data collection, reporting, and claiming connected to District Nursing.Experience in Palliative Care.Relevant experience in Person Centered Care and advanced problem-solving skills.Knowledge of current No Lift Programs and other issues common to clinical nursing.Current BLS competency.Desirable:Experience in a leadership role.UNITI software program knowledge and use.Previous intake experience.In this role you will be accountable to:Assist the organisation to meet its strategic and operational objectives in relation to client and patient care.The District Nurse, Intake, and Club Connection Manager role will contribute to providing coordinated delivery of quality person-centred care through effective clinical resource and financial leadership.Perform the role on intake and assessment to ensure eligibility criteria is met according to individual needs and funding requirements.Active involvement in quality processes incorporating accreditation.Beechworth Health Service (BHS) is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and follows Equal Employment Opportunity Principles.
