About the role Grampians Health has an exciting opportunity available.
We are seeking a dynamic, quality focussed Nurse Unit Manager to lead a highly committed and motivated team in our Central Sterilising Department in Ballarat, with close links with Horsham and Stawell.
Enjoy the upcoming redevelopment of the Grampians Health Ballarat site with state-of-the-art Operating Suite and Sterilising Department.
Provide management, leadership and professional expertise to team members working in the CSSD Facilitate the development of all staff placed under your responsibility Opportunity to deputises for the Director as required Key Responsibilities Be responsible and accountable for the daily operational management of the department Display strong leadership and communication skills to promote multidisciplinary engagement, team building and a positive workplace culture Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to facilitate clinical skills acquisition Communicate a positive vision for change and supports the team through the change process Skills & Experience Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current practicing certificate Previous management experience Post graduate qualifications in either management or perioperative services is preferable Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary leadership and comprehensive IT skills.

The classification is Nurse Unit Manager (NM10 – NM12) which ranges from $64.63 - $69.35 per hour.
