The core service delivery includes consultancy, assessment, intervention, treatment, and health promotion.
As a component of the Mental Health and ATOD Service, the role of the Acute Care Serviceincludes being the service point of contact for acute substance misuse, mental health assessment, intake and acute community mental health home care follow up.

Proof of qualification, registration with AHPRA and a current practising certificate are mandatory requirements.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis .A 6-month period of probation may apply.
