Our client is the only Phase 1 clinical research organization in the world to have Phase 1 facilities located in Australia. Boasting state of the art facilities and patient care is the heart of their success.
They are seeking an innovative Nurse Unit Manager to head up their team of nurses and be responsible for oversight and effective management of the clinical inpatient unit. You will be the key interface for the Project Teams regarding all matters related to the clinical unit.
Your Objectives: Provide support to project teams, including input on operational/logistical activities and build and maintain positive, productive, and collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders.Oversee Clinical Unit to ensure they are appropriately resourced at all times with personnel who are trained to undertake required clinical study procedures, in accordance with clinical trial protocols. This is performed in conjunction with the resourcing department.Oversee the facility maintenance and servicing and maintenance of all clinical equipment, ensuring that servicing/calibration schedules are adhered to, and appropriate documentation is available for inspection.To oversee the clinical nurse supervisors' portfolios to ensure that the clinical unit has the necessary resources, personnel, equipment and consumables in place to conduct the clinical trials safely and on schedule.Evaluate and submit proposals to acquire additional equipment and resources.Liaise with staff and foster relationships with clients and outside organisations to meet both Sponsor and business requirements.Have an understanding of the operational/logistical requirements of all clinical trials conducted.Lead and manage Clinical Nurse Supervisor and clinical unit staff, promoting an inclusive and positive culture.About You: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff at all levels.Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement systems and procedures and identify process improvement.Attention to detail and ability to adhere to documentation guidelines.Experience in a management position or similar for at least 12 months.APHRA accredited Division 1 Registered Nurse.This is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level with a world leader.
