We are seeking a Nurse Unit Manager – Cath Lab to join our team on a Permanent Full Time managing a team of 40 staff.
As a Nurse Unit Manager, your duties will include: Providing operational direction for the Cardiac Cath Lab to ensure efficient and effective management.Coordinating the delivery of safe, efficient and effective evidenced based nursing care.Providing leadership, guidance, mentoring and support to your nursing team.Being accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resources.Having a working knowledge of flexible rosters, budgets and key performance indicators.Facilitating a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement.Maintaining professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.Ensuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environment.Coordinating and driving clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.Undertaking direct patient care, as required.About you: Current Nursing registration with AHPRA.Extensive experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.Demonstrated leadership/management experience.An ability to communicate with influence to achieve results.Strong clinical expertise and passion for delivering high quality patient care.Commitment to enabling a culture of continuous improvement.Post graduate qualification in relevant field of specialty or working toward.Post-graduate qualifications in Leadership and Management (desirable).To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
