Your opportunity: The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a clinical manager, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within the Medical Ward (Level 2). The NUM provides professional and operational leadership and direction to nursing staff, as well as operational leadership to administration, allied health, and operational staff, and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Medical Ward (Level 2). The NUM utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and efficiency and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.We encourage applications from First Nations nurses and midwives in line with Health Equity, Growing Deadly Families, and Hospital and Health Plan Strategies. Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
