Are you a highly motivated Senior Registered Anaesthetic Nurse looking to join the dynamic team at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital?
Position Responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership and support for the anaesthetic nursing staff.Work with the Perioperative Services Manager to meet operational, financial and quality improvement initiatives.Identify educational and development needs of the anaesthetic team.Work with VMOs in a collaborative manner to deliver patient centred care.Assist with staff rostering, patient flow and resource allocation.Sydney Southwest Private Hospital has seven theatres covering specialities of Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, General, ENT, Urology, Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Interventional, Gynaecology, Maxillofacial and Endocrine Surgery.

Selection Criteria: Current Registration with AHPRAWorking with Children check (if relevant)Previous experience at NUM level or equivalent desirable.Postgraduate qualifications in Anaesthetics.Compliance with ACQSHC National standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA strong commitment to developing in a management roleA commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused careHigh degree of computer literacy including MS office and various databasesAbility to work cohesively within a team environmentProven time management and prioritisation skillsDemonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour managementDesirable Criteria: A management degree or working towards.
