Position Profile: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced nurse who can fulfill the role of the Nurse Specialist – Clinical Access Management to provide overall coordination of the outpatient referral service according to Clinical Priority Access Criteria (CPAC). The position works in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team and is responsible for facilitating and liaising with outpatient clinic areas to lead and manage new patient referrals into the health service at a state-wide level, whilst also developing and implementing strategies to monitor and address patient wait times, cancellations, did not attend occurrences, referral rejections, and rebookings within acceptable timeframes/targets.
