Nurse Practitioner - Mental Health

An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join the Midwest Mental Health & CADS at Geraldton Health Campus – Midwest. Position Profile: The Nurse Practitioner – MMH&CADS (NP-MMH&CADS) provides advanced mental health nursing practice using innovative models to patients and their families presenting for emergency and urgent psychiatric care. The NP-MMH&CADS functions autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role with other health professionals to diagnose, treat and manage patients' mental health problems. The NP MMH&CADS uses nursing expertise and leadership that influences and progresses clinical care, policy and collaboration for emergency and urgent psychiatric care patients in WACHS and the region.This position is under the professional supervision of the Regional Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
