The successful candidate will be primarily based in our Hay Street Clinic, in Perth, WA, on a Full-Time basis, working 38 hours, Monday to Friday.
DUTIES As a Nurse Officer, you will be a cornerstone of our team, responsible for conducting preliminary assessments and providing guidance to Medical Screeners.
Your role will encompass:
Conduct telephone vetting: Review online medical history questionnaire and extract additional information while taking notes in the online medical records system.Medical file reviewsArchive record identification and requestsExtant reports requests as neededEnsuring all preliminary assessment information is entered accurately into the electronic health recordMonitoring & maintaining equipment used during preliminary assessmentsFollow established policy and procedures within a well-defined Defence frameworkCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS As the successful candidate, you will be a Registered Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) together with the following:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsSharp eye for detailAbility to navigate electronic health records/systems and other relevant ICT systemsMinimum 3 years' broad medical experience in a health system comparable to AustraliaExperience within a Defence or on-base setting or in the delivery of pre-employment medicals would be highly desirable.Current Working With Children CheckCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAD009) certification.To apply for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold or have the ability to maintain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
